Juergen Mahneke

Juergen is the founder and owner of the award winning Bavarian Grill Restaurant and Biergarten located in Plano, Texas which opened 1993. The main menu includes various Schnitzel, Rouladen, Bratwurst, Hendl, Sauerbraten, fresh pasta dishes, and a selection of Bavarian style fish. Each season is celebrated with six changing offerings, like the fresh AAAW white asparagus in spring, fresh chanterelles and other “Schwammer’l” in the summer, 18 different Schnitzels during Oktoberfest, and the Wild Game Fest in the fall.

Jürgen says:

“Our team goal at the Bavarian Grill is to give you, our valued guest, the feeling of an authentic Bavarian Gasthaus with an adjacent Bier Garten and a nicely appointed private party room. All our dishes are based on authentic, traditional Bavarian recipes. We offer you a choice of 14 Gasthaus favorite side dishes, you may substitute any. We proudly restrict our Bier selection to Biers brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law from 1516, made only with malted grain, pure water, noble hops and brewer’s yeast, currently we give you over 70 different choices. We proudly offer Silvaner and Domina in the authentic Bocksbeutel bottle from the Staatlicher Hofkeller in Würzburg.

Your Bavarian experience centers on the time you relax and enjoy with your family and friends. When you leave smiling and return soon with more friends, we are successful in bringing you this Bavarian life-style: “Ein Prosit für die bayerische Gemütlichkeit”. Enjoy your dinner with us soon and many happy returns!
